Our Instructors

Cassi Craig

Director / Instructor / Choreographer

At the age of six, Cassi began her life-long passion for dance in Ardmore, OK. As an accomplished company dancer, she received a scholarship to Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Cassi did not head out to the coast right away, however. Instead, she utiliized a scholarship to attend Oklahoma City University as a dance performance major. Eventually, the draw of the dance scene in NYC became too great, and she lived and danced there for two years.

Cassi returned to the Oklahoma City Area with the goal of opening her own studio. Though she thoroughly enjoyed all of the experiences as a dance performer, she receives the most satisfaction as an instructor. Over the last seven years as an Oklahoma instructor, she has won numerous awards for her choreography for both group and solo performances.

Now, as the Director of APEX Dance Studio, Cassi is able to fulfill her love of teaching and instill in others the same passion for dance that has so greatly enriched her life.

Stephen Wafer

Hello there!! My name is Stephen Wafer, I am 23 years old, I am a senior dance performance major at University Central Oklahoma, and I love to dance!! I've been dancing since I was a young boy. Dancing is a way to express my love for music. My job as a dancer is to bring the music alive through my movement. I've gotten to the point where I love teaching as much as I love dancing as an individual. Seeing my vision come to life is truly a blessing!!
